Sam Fowler and Kyle Richards of Evolution Gaming Network and Hosting Mafia have been exploiting out dated security on gaming sites, and stealing their databases, scripts, and applications.

They are selling stolen material and in fact can guarantee they will end up over charging, as well as grabbing copys of your database whenever they feel the need to send a new news letter about their personal gaming sites.

We have both clients and non clients that have reported this and we have also tracked down sources and proof from accessing the servers of clients and non clients showing ip’s of the above mentioned people. We also have proof of stolen scripts running on there servers from those that reported the theft.

Owners beware of your security and make sure your always running latest versions of software, applications, and scripts on your servers.

Any uploads should be sanitized and checked to make sure it is a valid MIME type and not in fact a shell script being uploaded which will enable the attacker to gain complete access. Furthermore make sure your administration panels are also secured and can not be accessed by anyone other than those you place in a administration position.
